4.1.9 OTHER VISIBILITY CONSIDERATIONS<br />

At any <strong>roundabout</strong>, <strong>design</strong>ers must provide the sight distance quantified and described<br />

above. A driver must also be provided with sufficient visibility to readily assess the driving<br />

task. The sight distance required for this is not precisely quantified and only general<br />

guidance can be given.<br />
