CHALLENGE OF SEGUNDO 135
Robert McAfee Brown, has stated flatly that "leadership in the future,
theological or otherwise, is not going to come from Europeans and North
Americans, but from Asians, Africans, and Latin Americans." 26
Whether Brown's prophecy will be fulfilled must be left for the moment
to the verdict of history; in the meantime an excellent focus on the
problems that will occupy any future leadership may be found in The
Liberation of Theology.
