Thomas Cranmer Society
of Trinity School for Ministry
In our daily worship and prayer at Trinity, we are
reminded of the great contributions of that heroic
defender of reformed Christianity, Thomas
Cranmer (1489-1556). As the Church of England’s
first Protestant Archbishop of Canterbury, one of
his greatest contributions to the Reformation was
the Book of Common Prayer. Archbishop Cranmer
may well be the most influential figure in the history
of the English Church.
The Thomas Cranmer Society of Trinity School for
Ministry was established in 2003 to honor those
who have made permanent contributions to the
advancement of the Kingdom of God by making
planned gifts to Trinity. One hundred fourteen
During the 2007-2008 fiscal year, we experienced a major increase in new donors to
Trinity. As of the end of May, 193 new donors gifted $91,000 to the School.
If you know of someone who might be interested in making a gift of any size to Trinity
but who needs to know more about the School, we would be happy to send them an
informational packet. Contact the Development Office and we’ll mail the packet out
right away. We’d be glad to speak to them on the phone or welcome them to campus
for a visit, too.

members have gifted or have planned gifts consisting
of an IRA, life insurance, charitable
remainder or lead trusts, charitable gift annuities
and real estate. Membership in this society entitles
you to invitations to selected seminary events,
mailings of special articles and publications, periodic
estate and tax law updates as well as the satisfaction
of knowing that your legacy will continue
as the School educates, prepares, and inspires
future generations of leaders for Christ.
