<strong>Cadets</strong> as a Core Leadership Experience<br />
<strong>TSS</strong> is the only school in QLD and one of the few in Australia that<br />
offers a Tri‐Service Cadet Program.<br />
<strong>Cadets</strong> at <strong>TSS</strong> is a core experience in Year 8 & 9 to allow all boys the<br />
opportunity to experience the discipline of drill, importance of<br />
ceremonial occasions, working in teams, experience military<br />
leadership and chain of command and adventure training.<br />
Offers opportunity for students to continue in promoted positions,<br />
gain leadership training (possible five year program –hands on<br />
leadership).<br />
Not all students will want to continue –that is fine. What they learn<br />
from their cadet experience is important and valuable – other<br />
pathways for these boys.
