When Glory be … or another doxology is used at the end <strong>of</strong> a Canticle this is indicated, except when Psalm passages are used as<br />

<strong>Canticles</strong>. Glory be … is sung with these (i.e. with Nos. 1 – 16 & 18), although it is not used with the Responsorial Psalm 141<br />

(No. 17).<br />

<strong>The</strong> brackets printed over the extended tones indicate the sections to be omitted in shorter verses.<br />
