MINING PROCESS<br />
Exploration and mining are carried out at<br />
Wampewo, Wakiso District and Buyaga,<br />
Lyantonde District<br />
Equipment at these sites includes front<br />
wheel loader, bulldozer, backhoe loader,<br />
excavators,electric jack hammers, crushers<br />
Also in place are well trained staff who<br />
observe safety regulations and practices
PROCESSING<br />
Processing is carried out on site
Challenges<br />
Conflict Minerals – Lack of internationally<br />
recognized traceability program makes it hard<br />
to export minerals and makes them less<br />
marketable<br />
Visa – routine difficulties related to obtaining<br />
work permits for our foreign specialists (takes<br />
more than a year and very costly)<br />
Land issues – buying and documenting land<br />
titles require lengthy procedures and often<br />
creates insecurity of investments
