paddlewheels, tall stacks and colorful characters
and during this celebration of the classic riverboat
Belle of Louisville’s 100th birthday, history repeats
itself. An impressive fleet of riverboats, including
our own American Queen, which is the largest of all,
will descend upon graceful Louisville and sister
city Jeffersonville for events on the river and
festivals ashore in honor of the “oldest operating
Mississippi-style steamboat in the world.”
