Buck Creek Whitetails got started 8 years ago when dad (Joe Stutzman) bought 3 bred
does from his brother-in-law, Glen Lambright. After 2 years of helping with his deer and going
to auctions, my interest grew to the point where I bought 2 bred does of my own. I had good
luck that first year with 4 live fawns, I was hooked. After that I bought some good quality doe
fawns with high hopes for that dream buck.
I am now looking forward for spring with several of my younger does having their first
sons growing out. It didn’t take long for us to realize deer multiply fast which keeps it interesting
and challenging. We are live breeding 20 + adult does on the farm this year. We feel it is
important to breed with deer that look like we want their offspring to look like. We are using
several new breeders this year, check them out on my ad. We are located approximately 12
miles southeast of Shipshewana, IN. Feel free to stop in if you get in the area, or if you have any
questions leave a message at 260-585-4029 Good luck to all!
Comments: Red 85 is a Little Boomer daughter. She had triplets 2 years in
a row and in 2010 she had twins. We have no bucks out of her except 2 big
healthy button bucks. We all know what Little Boomer daughters have done
for the deer industry, so jump in and help yourself. She is bred to Maxbo 809,
a nice typical Maxbo son with the Maxbo look.
Comments: Yellow 49 is a Level King daughter. She is bottle fed and tame.
Level King is a Silver King son with long tines and the look, scoring 250” + @2.
The doe fawn is loaded with Silver King, High Roller, Maxbo’s full sister and
Little Boomer all in one package!! She is exposed to a Maxbo Ranger son. This
one hurts to let go!
