Section 4.<br />

Local employees shall be allowed two (2) hours to report at terminal<br />

after receiving notice from Employer. In the event the employee<br />

fails to report for work as ordered, the Employer is free to call in<br />

another employee. The employee who failed to report as ordered<br />

shall have no recourse.<br />

Section 5.<br />

All local employees shall be allowed a meal period which shall not<br />

begin until the employee has worked four (4) hours, but must begin<br />

before he has completed five (5) hours of work. No time shall be<br />

deducted from daily work that exceeds one (1) hour in any one (1)<br />

period. It shall not be compulsory to take a meal period where there<br />

is no accessible eating place. The current practice of coffee breaks<br />

shall continue, wherever presently applicable.<br />

Section 6.<br />

Any local employee required to sleep away from home shall be<br />

reimbursed for reasonable hotel and meal expenses.<br />

Section 7.<br />

(A) Combination employees shall be paid hourly rate for all local<br />

work performed and the mileage rate for all road work performed.<br />

(B) Any local employee on a peddle run shall not be converted to<br />

mileage pay during any one tour of duty.<br />

Section 8.<br />

(A) A daily time record shall be maintained by the Employer for all<br />

of his employees. Any Employer who employs five (5) or more<br />

employees shall have a time clock, and the employee’s time shall be<br />

computed by the time clock on time cards. Employer with less than<br />

five (5) employees who does not have a time clock shall permit<br />

employees to keep their own time records. Each employee shall<br />

“punch in” his own time card at the start of the day and “punch out”<br />

his own time card at the completion of the day’s work at the<br />

Employer’s place of business.<br />
