#5 Leaderboards are mainly about monitoring progress. Itisamazingthatstillmostofusthink thatwearemotivatedjustbybeingplacedon aleaderboard. Thevalueofaleaderboardisitsabilityto providegreatfeedbackabouthowwearedoing comparedtoothers.But-mostoften-that's it:Justagreatwayforfeedback.Atthe sametimeitalsoproveshowslow&bad feedbackwithinorganisationsnormallyis. Ofcourseleaderboardsarebetterthan nothingbutthatdoesn'tmeantheyarethe bestsolutionatall.Iwouldalwaysprefera goodfeedbacksystemthatenhances collaborationoveragreatfeedbacksystem thatenhancescompetition.
