Symbicort has a dose counter which tells you how m<strong>an</strong>y doses you have left. Other<br />
turbuhalers have a clear window (see picture below)<br />

Note: the rattling you hear when you shake the turbuhaler is the drying agent built in<strong>to</strong> the<br />
coloured base of the turbuhaler, <strong>an</strong>d is not the medication. This c<strong>an</strong> be heard even when<br />
the turbuhaler is empty.<br />
<strong>How</strong> should I look after my turbuhaler?<br />
• Avoid breathing in<strong>to</strong> a turbuhalert (moisture in your breath will ca<strong>use</strong> the device <strong>to</strong><br />
clog up).<br />
• Avoid getting it wetm always keep it in a dry place.<br />
• Keep the lid screwed on when it is not being <strong>use</strong>d.<br />
• Wipe with a dry tissue if required.<br />
