Heading to college? Want to know how to
cook without mom? Now is your chance to
learn! Lynnette Scharf, a Senior Consultant
for The Pampered Chef, will teach you basic
cooking skill while you prepare a meal.

Ballroom Dance
Put on your dancing shoes! Malia Arries from
Malia’s School of Dance and will be teaching
various dance styles, including the Waltz, Fox
Trot, and Tango.

City Wide Picnic
Bring the family to Fireman’s Park for a fun afternoon.
There will be a brat fry and live entertainment.
Join in the lawn games including:
tug of war, human sundae relay, three-legged
race and more! Tentative date is August 16.
Brewers Bus Trip
Gather the family and head to Miller Park to
watch the Brewers! We will take a coach bus
down and watch the Brew Crew from the
Loge level. The trip will be open to all ages,
and take place later in the summer.
Milwaukee Zoo
Discover your wild side at the zoo! Visit animals
from all over the world and take in a
few exotic exhibits. Young children should be
accompanied by an adult. Trip is tentatively
scheduled for June 25.
Noah’s Ark
Take the plunge at Noah’s Ark to cool off!
Trip is tentatively scheduled for July 23rd.
This chaperoned trip will be for kids ages 12
and up.
Six Flag Great America
This trip is for thrill seekers! Ride the roller
coasters, dip in the water park, or take in a
show. Trip is tentatively scheduled for July 9.
This chaperoned trip will be for kids ages 12
and up.
Wisconsin Parks & Recreation Association
Discount Ticket Program
Purchase discounted attraction tickets to help
support Columbus Recreation! The amount
of $0.75 per WPRA discount ticket sold will
be donated. Tickets will be sold during regular
office hours from May 15 to August 28.
