Extreme Makeover!<br />
<strong>Eastvalley</strong> will embark upon a<br />
new adventure next year, and<br />
we want you <strong>to</strong> be part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
exciting journey.<br />
The ‘Leader in Me’ process<br />
will be introduced <strong>to</strong> all<br />
facets <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Eastvalley</strong> family<br />
including students, parents,<br />
PTA, Foundation, community<br />
members, and our Partners in<br />
Education.<br />
The Leader in Me was created<br />
by Dr. Stephen Covey and helps<br />
build <strong>the</strong> essential life skills and<br />
characteristics that students<br />
need <strong>to</strong> thrive in <strong>the</strong> 21st<br />
century.<br />
The Leader in Me is a childfriendly<br />
version <strong>of</strong> Covey’s<br />
7 Habits <strong>of</strong> Highly Effective<br />
People. Our students will learn<br />
how <strong>to</strong> be proactive, think winwin,<br />
and <strong>to</strong> put first things first<br />
<strong>to</strong> name just a few <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> habits.<br />
<strong>Eastvalley</strong> would like <strong>to</strong> unveil<br />
a refreshed school in August<br />
<strong>2013</strong> and we need your help.<br />
Our first big project involves<br />
painting <strong>the</strong> interior common<br />
areas such as <strong>the</strong> hallways,<br />
cafeteria, and gym.<br />
