PLATINUM
The PLATINUM belt is defined by the following parameters [figure 1]:
BELT PITCH:
the distance P in millimeters between two adjacent tooth centres as measured along the pitch line of the belt.
BELT PITCH LENGTH:
the total length (circumference) of the belt in millimeters as measured along the pitch line (the theoretical pitch line
of PLATINUM lies within the tensile member).
The pitch length is a parameter that identifies univocally a synchronous drive belt; to measure a belt it’s necessary a suitable
measuring equipment, as specified in the standard ISO/FDIS 13050:1999(E).
BELT WIDTH:
the width of the belt measured in millimeters.
