only, the offense is a serious misdemeanor.<br />

ILLEGAL POSSESSION AND USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS: The possession, use<br />

or sale of alcoholic beverages on college property is not allowed unless specifically authorized by the<br />

college board of trustees. The college will assist in enforcing <strong>Iowa</strong> statutes concerning underage drinking<br />

and will report offenders to law enforcement agencies.<br />

SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSISTANCE: <strong>Iowa</strong> <strong>Lakes</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> is concerned about the well being<br />

of students and any threat posed by the high-risk use of alcohol and other drugs. Anyone needing information<br />
