Greetings from the District Director!
I would like to thank you in advance for attending the 2013Minnesota Boys Statewide Campout
and personally welcome you to this year’s event. We hope you will have a great time.
Boys Statewide Campout is our biggest event of the year. This year’s theme, SWITCH, is taken
from Luke 21:34-36 “But be on your guard. Don’t let the sharp edge of your expectation get
dulled by parties and drinking and shopping. Otherwise, that Day is going to take you by
complete surprise, spring on you suddenly like a trap, for it’s going to come on everyone,
everywhere, at once. So, whatever you do, don’t go to sleep at the switch. Pray constantly that
you will have the strength and wits to make it through everything that’s coming and end up on
your feet before the Son of Man.”
Not only will there be all kinds of games and activates for the boy’s, but at each night’s special
council fire both men and boys will be blessed with great messages and worship time. We are
expecting great things again around the altars each night. If it is anything like past Statewide
Campouts, the altars will be full of men and boys meeting the Lord, having their needs meet, and
being baptized in the Spirit. Last year’s attendance was 467 boys and men. Friday night 80+ boys
accepted Jesus or made a recommitment. Saturday night 130+ boys came forward for the
Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Praise God!
This year we are collecting a Master’s Tool Box offering. We are asking for each person to
bring at least $1.00 to give to the Master’s Tool Box to help missionaries get the tools they
need to be successful on the mission field.
I encourage all that can to come and be a part of this great event. Please also pray that God will
move in the lives of the boys and men that attend campout this year.
