DRIVE ROD/PISTON INSTALLATION
Step 4
A. Uncoil piston-rod-assembly
(Lay coil out in open area. Stand in middle
of coil when uncoiling.)
(Caution: Coil under tension!)
B. Slide drive piston down riser pipe to
bottom. The minimum radius of
curvature of the piston rod when
retrieved is 2.5 feet, which equals
760 mm. Use rag during drive-rod
installation to prevent damage from
flange edge.
