Custom and signature brews are available for special events and<br />

restaurants. Growlers and kegs are available at the brewery located just<br />

off Main Street, Chatham, and you can see the process if you stop by<br />

most Saturdays. Winner of the “2012 Matthew Vassar Brewers’ Cup for<br />

Harvest Spirits<br />

The first distillery in New York to be able to offer tastings and retail sale<br />

directly out of the distillery, Harvest Spirits makes alcohol from nature’s<br />

most perfect fruit: the apple, with apples grown on-site. Apples are grown,<br />

pressed, fermented, distilled and bottled at the same location. Come<br />

see how this incredible tasting vodka is made. Harvest Spirits newest<br />

creation—Pear Brandy, from locally sourced fruit. Saturday and Sunday<br />

Hillrock Estate Distillery<br />

Proud to be one of the few “field-to-glass” whiskey producers in the world,<br />

Hillrock is the first U.S. distillery since before Prohibition to floor malt<br />

and hand craft whiskey on site from estate-grown grain. Led by Owner<br />

Jeffrey Baker and renowned Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, Hillrock’s<br />

commitment to quality embodies the rich history of craft distilling in the<br />

Hudson Valley. The estate features a Georgian house overlooking the<br />

Distillery and 100 acres of farmland growing heirloom varieties of rye and<br />

barley. The Distillery complex is comprised of the Malthouse, Granary and<br />

Visitor Center as well as the Distillery which features a custom made 250<br />

gallon copper pot still. Open for weekend tours by reservation only (email<br />

Hudson-Chatham Winery<br />

The Hudson-Chatham Winery is <strong>Columbia</strong> <strong>County</strong>’s first winery. Since<br />

opening in 2007, its wines have won many awards, including gold medals<br />

from the New York State Fair, Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association<br />

and the New York Food & Wine Classic, among others. In the picturesque<br />

tasting room, you can also sample a wide range of locally produced gourmet<br />

products, including many Hudson Valley cheeses. The winery hosts events<br />

throughout the year and is also available for private parties. Fri-Sun 12-5pm.<br />

Tousey Winery<br />

Overlooking the Hudson River and the Catskill mountains, the panorama is<br />

outstanding, with 15 acres of Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir under<br />

production. Private tastings and events are scheduled at the vineyard<br />
