1987<br />
In 1987 the President was Basil Worner, Treasurer Rob Farrell, Secretary Sandi Hodge and the Editor<br />
Brian Aldrich. Club Fees were $17.00 single and $22.00 double.<br />
The Annual Club Dinner was held at Sereaglio Park in Kelmscott, cost $25.00.<br />
Runs and results worth mentioning during this year are:<br />
Friendship Run - January (150 Runners)<br />
Strachan's Run - February (140 Runners)<br />
Jan and Bob Braid and Suzette and Graham Lambert from the W.A. Marathon Club joined us for the<br />
day. Morning Tea and a Barbeque were held at June and Duncan's home after the run.<br />
Swanning Around The Bridges (127 Runners and Swan Districts Footballers)<br />

The event was won by Frank Smith followed by Don Caplin, with Ken Marshall <strong>of</strong> Swan Districts<br />
coming in third. The team prize was won by Dalton M<strong>of</strong>fatt, Allen Tyson, Mitch Lolly, T. Holtzam, J.<br />
Morgan and B. Wally. We had a great morning with John Todd and his team.<br />
London Marathon<br />
In May a group <strong>of</strong> Vets travelled to London to run the Marathon, they were: Joan and Barrie Slinger,<br />
Colin and Sue LeMan, Vic and Jacqui Beaumont, Rose and Maurice Johnson, Keith and Marg Forden,<br />
John and Joan Pellier, Sandi Hodge, Brian Danby and Jacqueline Billington.<br />
