A5: Will this change impact the <strong>Frontier</strong> Company Names, SPIDs, OCNs, RAO, etc?<br />

The company names, OCN, RAO are not impacted by the system conversion. This is a system<br />

only change. However, the SPID will change to <strong>Frontier</strong> Legacy’s SPID 0121 <strong>and</strong> the ICSC codes<br />

will change as a result of the conversion to reflect the change in service center. See Appendix A<br />

<strong>for</strong> new ICSC codes that will be used post conversion. The new ICSC codes will only be used<br />

after the state converts to the <strong>Frontier</strong> Legacy systems.<br />

A6: Will the same Products <strong>and</strong> Services be available?<br />

The conversion will not impact the products <strong>and</strong> services, however, there may be changes as a<br />

result of business decisions that could take place at the same time.<br />

A8: Will this conversion impact <strong>Frontier</strong> Legacy or Acquired West Virginia ordering processes?<br />

There may be some changes to the business rules as the current processes are merged. Any<br />

change to these rules or processes will be communicated using the current Change<br />

Management notification processes. To review the Change Management processes use by<br />

A9: If my company is ready early, can we convert be<strong>for</strong>e the official scheduled date?<br />

No. <strong>Frontier</strong> needs to convert the entire state on the same day. We cannot hold some circuits/<br />

TNs or bring over some circuits/TNs ahead of schedule. This conversion requires a flash cut<br />

from system to system.<br />

A10: What can I expect regarding cutover weekend <strong>and</strong> the in-flight process?<br />

More in<strong>for</strong>mation will be coming out regarding conversion weekend <strong>and</strong> downtimes but<br />

<strong>Frontier</strong> will endeavor to limit any downtime impacting carriers. <strong>Frontier</strong> is preparing<br />

documentation that outlines the in-flight process <strong>and</strong> will hold a meeting to walk-through this in<br />

detail at least 30 days prior to conversion.<br />

A11: The commitment in the settlement agreement states <strong>Frontier</strong> must provide the same or<br />

similar functionality with any successor OSS. How is <strong>Frontier</strong> addressing this?<br />

As you will see in this document <strong>and</strong> other documents <strong>for</strong>thcoming, <strong>Frontier</strong> is looking at each<br />

system with high volumes <strong>and</strong> ensuring they are cared <strong>for</strong> in similar ways. However, those that<br />

are not used very often will not be given the same priority. <strong>Frontier</strong> will provide a matrix of<br />

systems used today <strong>and</strong> the process/system planned <strong>for</strong> post conversion.<br />
