Ms. Williams is a member of the board of directors for Public Law Center from 2000 to present, where she
received the 1997 California State Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award. She is also actively involved with
Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Ms. Williams is also a member of the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM) and Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA).
Ms. Williams externed for Justice Allen Broussard of the California Supreme Court in 1990.
In 1999, Ms. Williams was recognized as “20 Under 40 Likely To Succeed” by the California Daily Journal
publication.

Ms. Williams received her B.A. in political science and history, magna cum laude, from Loyola Marymount
University (1988). She received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, (1991). Ms.
Williams attended University of California, Boalt Hall Law School (1990-1991) where she was a staff member
for California Law Review.
She is also a Blessing & White Certified Trainer/Facilitator for the Leadership Training Program, “Helping
Others Succeed.”
