Ms. <strong>Williams</strong> is a member of the board of directors for Public Law Center from 2000 to present, where she<br />

received the 1997 California State Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award. She is also actively involved with<br />

Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Ms. <strong>Williams</strong> is also a member of the Society for Human Resource<br />

Management (SHRM) and Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA).<br />

Ms. <strong>Williams</strong> externed for Justice Allen Broussard of the California Supreme Court in 1990.<br />

In 1999, Ms. <strong>Williams</strong> was recognized as “20 Under 40 Likely To Succeed” by the California Daily Journal<br />

publication.<br />

Ms. <strong>Williams</strong> received her B.A. in political science and history, magna cum laude, from Loyola Marymount<br />

University (1988). She received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, (1991). Ms.<br />

<strong>Williams</strong> attended University of California, Boalt Hall Law School (1990-1991) where she was a staff member<br />

for California Law Review.<br />

She is also a Blessing & White Certified Trainer/Facilitator for the Leadership Training Program, “Helping<br />

Others Succeed.”<br />
