Orignal Harvey Stethoscopes come with solid brass chestpieces and dual-lumen
latex tubes. Features three easily rotated chestpieces (bell, corrugated, diaphragm,
and flat diaphragm). Clearly detects the full range of important sounds from lowfrequency
gallops to the faint high-frequency blow of aortic insufficiency. Sound
detection capability of the three chestpieces allows for the most complete
auscultatory examination.

STETHOSCOPE SYSTEM
Welch Allyn has teamed up with Meditron AS of Norway to provide the first
computer power and Auscultation combination. A unique, patented listening
system that dramatically enhances sound clarity. Ideal educational tool. Records
sounds and images and speeds consultant review and future analysis (based on
Microsoft wav files). Should be used by any physical examination where
additional amplification is required, including doctor’s offices, EMS sites,
veterinarian’s office, tele-medicine site, hospitals, and medical schools.
Reimbursement is the same as regular physical examination (multiple codes). 200
hours or four years of use from the battery. Excellent for use with difficult
patients (weak sounds, obese patients, children). May be cleaned with a lightly
moistened cotton wipe using chlorhexidine or alcohol. Does not contain any
latex.
