Dear Parents,
I am pleased to present the Class of 2012 profile. This class has many accomplishments,
interests, and talents that have been nurtured, developed, recognized, and celebrated over
the course of their high school career.
Their hard work, initiative, perseverance, creativity, and tenacity have been rewarded with the
promise of unlimited opportunities at colleges and universities across the country, the armed
services, or enrollment in specialized post-secondary programs.
Parents and family, teachers, counselors, coaches, and our entire school community are
proud of the Class of 2012 for what they have accomplished. We are proud of their academic
achievements, their athletic prowess, and their skill in visual and performing arts. We are
proud of the questions they ask, the languages they understand and speak, the essays they
wrote, the complex mathematical equations they can solve, and the history, literature, and
scientific principles they understand and apply across multiple settings.
We have all witnessed their growth in assuming greater responsibility and growth in
character as they strive to become persons of integrity, courage, compassion, generosity, and
resourcefulness. We are very proud of these young men and women’s generous spirit and the
kindness and compassion we have seen them extend to others. The Class of 2012 completed
over 23,000 hours of community service. Their volunteer efforts on behalf of many noble and
“My hope for each of you is that you will lead others by your own best example.
Be humble and kind. Be dependable and do what you say you will do, even if
it means unexpected sacrifice. Earn and maintain the trust of others by being
honest and an individual of impeccable integrity. Be of value to others and your
success will surely follow. Let your actions be a reflection of your knowledge and
the strength of your character and be actions which your family, your school,
and your country will be able to point to in the future with great pride. “
