Distribution System
The Televes Attic Box
combines UHF, FM radio,
DAB and satellite signal
sources onto a single
downlead output that
feeds SKY and
OUTLET. UHF signals
from this outlet are fed
back to the unit via an
uplink. In the main unit, these signals are combined with the
VHF and amplified to provide four MATV outputs each,
including the already decoded SKY TV programme supplied by
the SKY Digibox UHF output.
SKY satellite programmes can be selected from all the MATV
outputs using the Televes Infrared Eye (CPC Code SE00430).
The Televes Attic Box (SKY+) option unit is designed to be
used only with the main unit to increase the number of outputs
- 2 extra MATV outlets and 2 MATV & Satellite outlets. It is the
only system that allows you to upgrade to SKY+ using the
existing two cables.

UDF420 DC Quadplexer
Combiner
The UDF420DC is a unique combiner has four separate
inputs that allow FM, DAB, UHF and Satellite to be
combined together. It has two designated outputs,
Output 1 is a wideband output that covers from
88-2150MHz, which is intended to feed the main
viewing area. The signals are then triplexed out and
fed to the relevant Set-top box. This combiner has
the facility to provide line power to a masthead
amplifier via a switch which enables a 12v DC
regulated supply. The line power is fed from the LNB
input on the Digi-box which provides 500mA for the LNB as well as
providing power to a masthead amplifier.
