Routers<br />

• 3 ¼ Horsepower minimum<br />

• Variable speed<br />

• A straight bit—solid carbide<br />

• An assortment of various profiles<br />

Clamps<br />

Traditional mechanical screw type and vacuum clamps. Screw clamps are required to ensure a<br />

good bond with structural epoxies.<br />

Drill<br />

• Pilot holes for pan head sheet metal screws<br />

• For larger holes use bi-metal hole saw or carbide-tipped hole saw. Can be used but<br />

tend to wear out quickly due to heat build up. Routing is preferable to hole saws for<br />

thick material and large holes.<br />

• For small holes use titanium or cobalt bits<br />
