This sample of the analysis shows that the costs can vary noticeably<br />
accord<strong>in</strong>g to three parameters:<br />
• the grade of the teacher (teacher/deputy) and the degree of<br />
use of the methodology at the same level;<br />
• the quantitative importance, particularly of the jo<strong>in</strong>t and <strong>in</strong>dividual<br />
teach<strong>in</strong>g materials, for each pupil accord<strong>in</strong>g to the level<br />
(from the 1 st to the 6 th year).<br />
With regard to this second po<strong>in</strong>t, it should be noted that when the<br />
teach<strong>in</strong>g material is locally produced, the cost is less than when<br />
it is imported. But this ga<strong>in</strong> is otherwise m<strong>in</strong>imized to the extent<br />
that the pedagogical transfer from one (L1) to another language<br />
(L2) implies a duplication of certa<strong>in</strong> of the pupils’ books.<br />
