An exciting embryo heifer calf blending the best of the Blackcap and
Emblynette families sired by SAV Prosperity 9131, the Select Sires bull who
was the $135,000 third top-seller of the 2010 SAV Sale to Buford Ranches
and their partners. The donor dam of this heifer was selected by Buford
Ranches and Werner Angus as a $30,000 highlight of the 2010 Express
Sale and she is from the mating of the established Pathfinder Sire N Bar
Emulation EXT with the $280,000 GAR 044 Traveler 2328, who has the
distinction of being the only full sister to GAR Grid Maker, from the family
SAV PROSPERITY 9131 -

descending from the breed’s world record income-producing cow with more
than $7.5 million in progeny sales.
Three pregnancies from the grandam of this heifer sold for $205,000 in the
2008 Express Sale and three others sold for $165,000 in the 2007 Express
Sale with others including the $51,000 top-selling and $50,000 second topselling
pregnancies of the 2009 Monarch Sale. Other maternal sisters to the
dam of this heifer include a long list of top-selling females including the
$360,000 valued VAR Blackcap 6204, the $280,000 VAR Blackcap 6056, and
the $300,000 valued GAR 1407 New Design 2082 among others.
The paternal grandam of this heifer is a six generation Pathfinder Dam selected
by Buford Ranches and their partners as the $50,000 second top-selling
cow of the record-setting 2011 SAV Sale.
