Review of Memory Verses
Activity
To solidify memorization and to experience
how God’s word is “living and active,” cut
up copies of the verses from the past eight
weeks, provided on page 2. Put them in a
container. At the evening meal, every person
draws one, reads and replaces.
Instruct everyone to think about their verse
the following day as God’s special word to
them for that day. At the succeeding evening
meal, have each person share how their word
spoke to them in the course of the day.
For little children, give them a simple phrase
from their verse to repeat throughout the day.
For example, “Go therefore and make
disciples of all nations.” or “Do not labor for
the food which perishes.”
End by praying the Q# 250 Summary Prayer.
