BDO is an institution not only committed to providing efficient products and services
to clients, but is also involved in various efforts to help alleviate the lives of the
underprivileged and conserve the environment as well.
BDO Foundation, Inc.
The Bank, seeing itself as part of a larger community and addressing in its own capacity the inequities that exist in the society,
implemented programs focused on shelter, practical education, livelihood and environment conservation through its sociocivic
arm, the BDO Foundation.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Donation of houses and lots
situated inside Lexber Homes,
a fully-developed subdivision
owned by the Bank to the Local
Government Unit of Calumpit,
Bulacan, in partnership with the
Catholic Relief Service (CRS-
USA) and the Roman Catholic
Bishop of Malolos, Inc. (Diocese).
The CRS-USA, an international
humanitarian agency, provided
the funds for the repairs
of the houses through the
Diocese of Malolos as its
implementing partner while the
local government of Calumpit
improved the site for the benefit
of typhoon victims and families
that needed to be relocated
from the danger zones. Values
formation are being conducted
in partnership with ANCOP-CFC
Tekton Foundation. Day care
and livelihood centers were also
renovated through the help of
