URDG Article 33 – Transfer Of Guarantee And<br />
Assignment Of Proceeds<br />
• Unlike UCP600 and NYUCC, but like ISP98,<br />
partial transfers are prohibited<br />
• Like ISP98 and NYUCC, but unlike UCP600, a<br />
transferable guarantee may be transferred more<br />
than once<br />
• Unlike ISP98, UCP600 or NYUCC, the URDG<br />
requires the transferor to provide a signed<br />
acknowledgement by the transferee <strong>of</strong> its<br />
acquisition <strong>of</strong> the transferor’s rights and<br />
obligations in the underlying relationship<br />
