Our 3 sites, at the heart of the Vendée area of France manufacture our product, using state-of-the-art technology. Our
highly enthusiastic staff work as a team to produce collections which portray the values of French furniture: style, character
and quality, placing Gautier at the forefront of European contemporary furniture.
■ Supporting employment in the region
Gautier employs over 950 people at its Boupère, Chantonnay and Saint Prouant sites. At a time when some companies
are moving operations offshore, we are perpetuating our fifty-year-old tradition of passing unique expertise
down from generation to generation.
■ Partner suppliers
Our partner suppliers are primarily French and European companies, and some are local SMEs situated within 50km
of our production sites.
■ Made in France, a strong selling point
Half of all Gautier furniture is sold abroad. International clients love the style and elegance of our
French furniture.

■ PEFC certification
Gautier achieved PEFC certification in 2012. French wood used in our furniture is harvested from sustainably
managed French regional forests. PEFC certification is part of our global commitment to protecting
people and the environment.

We purchase 85,000 tonnes of wood each year. All of this wood is sourced locally, in the west of France
within 300km of our production sites.
