WHO SHOULD I TELL?
As people with heart valve problems have an
increased risk of a rare condition called
Infective Endocarditis it is advisable to inform
your doctor, or dentist, about your condition
before you have any invasive treatment. They
will assess you and decide if you need to take
antibiotics prior to your treatment.
