Kenneth (Ken) J. Parker is Vice President, Public Policy of Pepco Holdings, Inc.<br />

(PHI). In his capacity as PHI Vice President, Public Policy, Mr. Parker is responsible<br />

<strong>for</strong> developing the company’s position on public policy issues and reconciling federal<br />

and state issues throughout PHI’s service area.<br />

He began his career in 1986 with PHI’s Atlantic Region in the company’s Landscaping<br />

Department. Since then, Mr. Parker has held several management positions within the Atlantic Region,<br />

including President, Vice President and Direc<strong>to</strong>r of Government Affairs.<br />

Mr. Parker serves on the following PHI committees: Regula<strong>to</strong>ry Policy Committee, Government Policy Coordinating<br />

Council, Community Foundation, and Political Action Committee.<br />

Mr. Parker graduated in 1990 from Delaware State University with a B.S. in Education.<br />

Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI), is a regional energy holding company that provides utility service <strong>to</strong> more than 1.9 million<br />

cus<strong>to</strong>mers. PHI is the parent company of Po<strong>to</strong>mac <strong>Electric</strong> Power Company, an electric utility serving Washing<strong>to</strong>n, D.C.,<br />

and suburban Maryland; Delmarva Power, an electric and gas utility serving Delaware and the rest of the Delmarva Peninsula;<br />

and Atlantic City <strong>Electric</strong>, an electric utility serving southern New Jersey.<br />
