Turn your 1/2 Day Camp into a full-day experience!
The Morrison Family YMCA will have more than 50 Morning Specialty Camps this summer. Whether your child loves sports,
theatre, science or art there is something for everyone.
Add Afternoon Exploration Camp (pg 16) or Xtreme Sports Camp (PM) (pg 9) to your morning specialty camp to create a
full-day experience for your child. The afternoon camp program is from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM. Camp staff will transition your
child from the morning camp to the afternoon camp. The cost to add an afternoon camp is $75 for members or $105 for
program participants. Extended care is available from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM for all school age campers
at no additional charge. Spaces are limited so don’t miss out on this great opportunity.
RESIDENT CAMP
Camp Thunderbird Ages 7 - 16
For more than 75 years, Camp Thunderbird has provided campers an unforgettable
experience that includes adventure, fun and friendship. With nationally recognized
water programs that include wakeboarding, water skiing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing,
water slides and paddle boarding, Thunderbird is a leader in water sports activities.
Nestled along the shoreline of South Carolina’s Lake Wylie, campers also can take part
in many land activities such as horseback riding, ropes courses, extreme sports and arts

Camp Harrison at Herring Ridge Ages 6 - 16
Founded on Christian values, Camp Harrison is located just 90 minutes from
Charlotte in the mountains of Boomer, NC. Traditional Resident Camp campers
choose from over 21 land activities including archery, paintball, ropes course,
sports and crafts. Adventure tracks allow campers to create their own personalized
experiences including Dude Ranch, Sportsman, Farm to Feast, Beyond the Ridge,
