PATRON TOUR OF SCHOOLS RESCHEDULED
Are you interested in seeing why Peoria Unified School District (PUSD) schools continue to
succeed? Then join the Patron Tour to observe students achieving right before
your eyes.
Due to the inclement weather in February, the PUSD rescheduled the tour to
Friday, March 26th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. of Sunrise Mountain High
School, 21200 N. 83rd Avenue and Frontier Elementary, 21258 N. 81st
Avenue. Any business leader, neighbor, parent, retiree, government employee,
or interested person is invited to attend.
The tour will begin at Sunrise Mountain High School. A continental breakfast
will be served and a District overview will be presented by PUSD
Superintendent Dr. Denton Santarelli. Governing board members will be on
hand to greet the guests.
Sunrise Mountain Principal Jerry Nunez will share an overview and tour of the
high school campus. After the tour of the high school, patrons will board a
yellow school bus for a short trip to Frontier Elementary to tour the elementary
campus. Principal Davita Solter will share information about the school, and
young students will accompany the guests on campus.
Patrons will board the bus to return to Sunrise Mountain High around 11:30
a.m. and will have the opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the tour.
