THE DEPARTMENT<br />
The Department <strong>of</strong> Environmental <strong>Engineering</strong> is newly established at <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Engineering</strong> & Technology Taxila. This<br />
Department is working under the Faculty <strong>of</strong> Civil & Environmental <strong>Engineering</strong>. Considering the overall environmental crises<br />
<strong>and</strong> issues through out the country, it has been decided to produce well trained pr<strong>of</strong>essionals in the field <strong>of</strong> Environmental<br />
<strong>Engineering</strong>. The graduates will be highly motivated <strong>and</strong> trained to undertake the environmental issues like water <strong>and</strong><br />
wastewater treatment, air <strong>and</strong> noise pollution, river <strong>and</strong> l<strong>and</strong> pollution etc.<br />
COURSES OF STUDY<br />
The Department <strong>of</strong> Environmental <strong>Engineering</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers full-time course <strong>of</strong> four years duration, leading to the bachelor degree<br />
in Environmental <strong>Engineering</strong>. The provided course contents are highly pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>and</strong> well arranged. The designed course<br />
content will support the graduates to enhance their knowledge up to the international st<strong>and</strong>ards.<br />
FUTURE PLANS<br />
The Department will <strong>of</strong>fer Master <strong>and</strong> Doctoral Programmes in the field <strong>of</strong> Environmental <strong>Engineering</strong> in near future.<br />
