Michael Lewis Monica Zajanc Quin Stone<br />
In memory <strong>of</strong> Forest Service employees Michael Lewis, Lillian Patten, Monica<br />
Zajanc, and contract pilot Quin Stone, who tragically lost their lives in the<br />
line <strong>of</strong> duty on August 13, 2006 at the South Fork Salmon River Road in the<br />
Payette National Forest located in Idaho. Family, friends and co-workers<br />
sorely miss them.<br />
In memory <strong>of</strong> Forest Service employee Leon Stuck, who tragically lost his life<br />
in the line <strong>of</strong> duty on August 30, 2006 on Akwe Mountain in the Tongass<br />
National Forest near Yakutat, Alaska.<br />
“Our dedicated employees are our most valued resource, and the loss <strong>of</strong> any<br />
affects the entire <strong>US</strong>DA family. On behalf <strong>of</strong> all <strong>of</strong> my colleagues, I extend<br />
our deepest gratitude and most heartfelt sympathy to the families <strong>of</strong> these<br />
