things up as more colors were applied. I could have gone a bit darker with the<br />

flesh color, but we’ll see how these turn out after being “dipped”. <strong>The</strong> next<br />

color I went with was a medium-dark grey for the armor bits and other metal<br />

parts on the models. This cleaned<br />

up some of my over-painting with<br />

the flesh colors and then I was on<br />

to the rest of the colors. This was<br />

mainly a couple of different<br />

browns for stuff like leather<br />

straps, shields, and fur cloaks, a<br />

red-orange for their hair, white for<br />

their teeth and claws. I used a<br />

light green for the decapitated<br />

head trophies that two of them<br />

carry on their belts and the<br />

figures that needed to be<br />

stripped after a bad prime before<br />

and I just wanted to get these<br />

guys painted.<br />

To the left you can see an image<br />

of a Bugbear from WOTC’s<br />

D&D Monster Manual and I<br />

wanted to get mine at least close<br />

to appearance to this one. After<br />

the white I moved on to the largest bit of color and that was the flesh. I made<br />

their flesh slightly darker than “normal” human flesh and as you can see I was<br />

not very neat in the application of this color. I figured that I would clean<br />
