Future Managed Inventory
Future Managed Inventory (FMI) is a unique concept in the
world of electronics distribution. While other distributors
may talk about bonding inventory, only Future Electronics
offers a true electronic bonding process. When a customer
releases product from a FMI, the material is first pulled from
our available-to-sell (ATS) inventory. If the ATS runs
low, only then is the material pulled from the customer’s
FMI bond, resulting in a genuine safety stock.
Future Managed Inventory offers Just-In-Time (JIT)
deliveries, with near-zero lead times, so that you get
what you need, when you need it!
Bonded Inventory Management (BIM)
Ours is a true inventory bonding program. Material is electronically
bonded in our distribution center and delivered to
our customers when needed. With Future Electronics’ BIM,
scheduling orders is no longer required. Our customers
can significantly improve cash-to-cycle time and inventory
turns, while also minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
In addition, our customers will have real-time access to
their bonds and ensure Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery, by
enhancing their BIM program with one of our full-service
e-commerce solution packages, including Web-based
applications.
