Unibond Flex & Unibond Flex Bloc<br />
This broadloom backing provides enhanced durability,<br />
installation flexibility and sustainability. This combination<br />
of benefits is made possible by Unibond Flex’s patented<br />
matrix construction (US Patent No. 5,962,101) where<br />
the carpet fiber is tufted through both the primary<br />
and secondary backings. It is then backed with our<br />
Advanced Thermoset Co-Polymer which is made with<br />
33% post-consumer recycled content. Unibond Flex Bloc<br />
provides all the benefits of Unibond Flex with the added<br />
feature of an effective liquid barrier. Both are NSF 140<br />
Platinum Certified and backed by our Lifetime Limited<br />
Warranty.<br />
EcoFlex ICT<br />
Our EcoFlex ICT modular backings contain 35%<br />
pre-consumer recycled content and are now standard<br />
across all the Karastan, Lees and Bigelow offerings. This<br />
is an ultra dense modular backing system engineered<br />
to provide superior performance, with guaranteed dimensional<br />
stability. EcoFlex ICT is CRI Green Label Plus<br />
certified, Gold level certified in accordance with NSF/<br />
ANSI 140 and may contribute to LEED certifications.<br />
