CANTEENS & CAFETERIAS<br />
The Voronezh State University<br />
foodservice includes<br />
5 canteens and 4 cafeterias.<br />
The number of seats varies<br />
from 300 in the canteens to<br />
15 in the cafeterias.<br />
The menu is aimed to suit<br />
all tastes and budgets. The<br />
average cost of a threecourse<br />
meal is approximately<br />
3 Euros.<br />
The meal plan includes<br />
plenty of vegetables, cottage<br />
cheese, fish, meat and<br />
mince (beef, pork, poultry),<br />
as well as special diet dishes.<br />
On the menu, there are<br />
usually 5–7 starters, 2–3<br />
soups, 5–7 main courses,<br />
and about 3 side dishes, to<br />
choose from. There is also a<br />
wide variety of fresh pastry<br />
and cakes, as well as fruit.<br />
<strong>VSU</strong> canteens are all<br />
self-service, which saves a<br />
lot of time.<br />
Working hours: 8 a.m.<br />
to 5 p.m. Monday through<br />
Friday, although in some<br />
university buildings the<br />
canteen is open until 7 a.m.<br />
The canteens are closed on<br />
Saturdays and Sundays.<br />
The university conducts<br />
regular surveys of the students'<br />
opinion on the quality<br />
of food and service at the<br />
canteen, and all their recommendations<br />
are taken into<br />
account in order to improve<br />
the foodservice system.<br />
