Foreword
For the Mercedes-Benz Bank, 2012
is a very special year: firstly, we
are able to look back at 2011 as a
record-breaking year and secondly
we celebrate our company’s 25 th
anniversary. In 1987 we completed the first financing
agreement for a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz
230 CE. Back then, there were only very few customers that
did not pay cash for their vehicles. Today we finance or lease
more than half of all Daimler automobiles in Germany. And
increasingly, insurance and service-packages are also incorporated
into the monthly rates.
Around 1.2 million customers use our wide range of financial
services, dealing with all areas of automobile finance and
our investment products. At our dealerships, our customers
appreciate being able to obtain all the services relating
to their vehicle from a single source: leasing, financing,
motor insurance, vehicle servicing – and for our commercial
customers, fleet management.
Every day, at the three locations of Berlin, Saarbrücken and
Stuttgart, more than 1,500 employees strive to ensure that
the Mercedes-Benz Bank lives up to its promise of being the
best financial service provider for its customers and dealers.
This brochure is intended to convey the most important
