Although this fireplace has a sideways retractable door, it also has an external air intake which makes it<br />
extremely air tight and perfect for use in a passive or low energy house.<br />

The new version for 2012 features a closer fitting door and black ceramic glass frame option.<br />
The SD442 <strong>green</strong> has three decorative options to make it even more attractive, which are easily interchangable,<br />
even after several years :<br />
• A small metal frame<br />
• An anthracite metal door which creates a log store beneath the fireplace<br />
• A black ceramic glass frame<br />
Even with all these benefits the SD442 <strong>green</strong> remains less expensive than a conventional<br />
retractable door firpelace.<br />
