cow with her breeding. Sun Frost, Snippys Cowboy,
Peponita, Doc Bruce & a double dose of Vanzi
Bar, with your imagination and her bloodlines the
skies your limit. She should be good sized.
Here is a great mix from two outstanding Quarter
Horse Programs… Knippling and Stanley Johnson.
Vanzi Bar is sired by Clabber Bar X Three Bars (a
race horse with confirmation). Peponitta was a
world champion cutting horse. Doc’s Jack Frost is
by Doc Bar (revolutionized the cutting horse industry)
out of Chantella. Doc Bruce was a top rope and
barrel horse. She is a nice, big mare who passes
her good mind and confirmation onto her offspring.
She can really get under herself & move around.
She was never broke to ride. She has nice babies
& takes good care of them. She is bred back the
same way for 2012, to YO Cowboy Cowan, our own
son of Pat Cowan.
prospect. We bred him to one mare this Summer
& will have the results sale day. He is in training
with Rob Fox and will have 30 - 40 days by sale
horses are here!!! He is a pleasure to have around
& will make someone a very nice using horse
whether on the ranch, in the arena, or out on the
trail. Hank has good bone, feet, size, color and a
very nice disposition!
She is a powerhouse! She won’t get much taller,
but she can do just about any job on a ranch. She
is easy to handle, has had a lot of ranch riding &
roping & can be used for just about anything. Experienced
youth & beyond could get along fine with
her. She is a very nice golden palomino mare who
is “gentle, gentle, gentle” however, she is quick!
Remember, great things can come in small packages,
lot 61 H Cody
1996 grade gelding
If you are from the Ft. Pierre area, you may have
seen him around at Playdays! We bought him at
the late Johnny Smith Dispersal. The children
in Johnny’s life used this horse for general ranch
work - branding, sorting, trailing cattle & just
plain having fun! Cody is a nice solid gelding who
is good for ANYONE to ride. He is very easy going,
however, he has enough gas for young riders
to compete on and be successful!!! We are using
him to pony the colts for the Fall sales.
