N.B. Impressionist painter Lesser Ury was born in Brinbaum,
Germany, but moved to Berlin with his family in 1972, following
the death of his father. Although he left Berlin to study in
Dusseldorf, Brussels, Paris, and Stuttgart, Ury returned there to
set up his studio. The city of Berlin provided a constant source of
inspiration for Ury, who is best known for his urban landscapes
under cloud-filled or moonlit skies.
