Concept<br />

LightEngine from Toshiba has been designed as an evolution to<br />

conventional lighting to maximise the potential of LED and provide<br />

<br />

LightEngine is a new generation of replaceable<br />

light sources, using LED. Just as you would replace your<br />

<br />

exchanged. This means that you do not have to replace<br />

the entire luminaire should the LED fail but simply<br />

untwist the old lamp and replace it.<br />

E-CORE LED Light Engine<br />

With its 40mm cross-sectional silicon heat pad, the LightEngine ensures that all the heat generated is<br />

driven directly to the heatsink, away from the LED chip.<br />

LightEngine uses a special connector that presses the LightEngine‘s silicon heat pad down with exact<br />

pressure to the heatsink to ensure a good thermal connection with no air gaps.<br />

LightEngine offers 40‘000 hours of life (L70),<br />

that‘s up to 4 times longer than CFL,<br />

drammatically reducing maintenance costs.<br />

Delivering 53Lm/W+, the LightEngine<br />

offers high light output without draining<br />

your wallet. Combined with its dimming<br />

capabilities, the LightEngine is the perfect<br />

<br />
