Trick 1 – select the right<br />

object type for the EMLac<strong>to</strong>r<br />

• By Default the EML Ac<strong>to</strong>r only connects <strong>to</strong><br />

the output ports the FIRST LINE OF DATA “as<br />

field”.<br />

• If you want <strong>to</strong> have an output port represent<br />

the data as a VECTOR you need <strong>to</strong> select “As<br />

Column Vec<strong>to</strong>r”<br />

• If you want <strong>to</strong> get a Data Frame instead of<br />

individual columns, you need <strong>to</strong> select “As<br />

ColumnBased Record”
