Zora Young was born in West Point, Mississippi on<br />
January 21, 1948, and is a distant relative to Howlin’<br />
Wolf. When Zora was seven, her family moved to<br />
Chicago where she began her singing career as a<br />
gospel singer then eventually moved towards blues<br />
and R&B music. Zora has sung with a who’s-who of<br />
blues artists, including Sunnyland Slim, Junior Wells,<br />
Albert King, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy and many more.<br />
On this release, Zora is paying homage to her mentor,<br />
the late great Sunnyland Slim, and is accompanied<br />
by musicians who knew him best. Sunnyland’s presence<br />
is felt throughout this entire <strong>CD</strong>. Highlights<br />
