<strong>Museum</strong> Store<br />
The <strong>Museum</strong> Store ended the fiscal year with $261,000 in sales.<br />
Popular items such as galleria umbrellas, art books, jewelry, and<br />
unique home and <strong>of</strong>fice gifts, as well as the Chihuly <strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong><br />
<strong>Museum</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Art</strong> book continued to lead store sales. Additionally, the<br />
store began opening seven days a week, increasing its days and<br />
hours <strong>of</strong> operation to include Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and<br />
extending hours on Thursdays, during <strong>Art</strong> After 5 p.m. The store also<br />
continued to <strong>of</strong>fer gift cards, personal shopping, special orders, and<br />
shipping worldwide.<br />
<strong>Museum</strong> Cafe<br />
During 2009–2010, the <strong>Museum</strong> Cafe made over $1.2 million in<br />
total sales, a decrease <strong>of</strong> approximately $200,000 from last year<br />
attributed to the economy. Sunday’s brunch and lunch menus<br />
continued to be popular <strong>of</strong>ferings. Toward the end <strong>of</strong> the fiscal year,<br />
Sketch to Screen drove sales, consistently drawing lunch crowds <strong>of</strong><br />
250 or more people. Monday luncheon services, Tuesday through<br />
Saturday luncheon and dinner services, as well as special dinners,<br />
wine tastings, holiday carry-out orders, and catering services served<br />
over 62,000 people, with approximately 65% <strong>of</strong> that number being<br />
repeat customers. Inside catering services, including rehearsal<br />
dinners, anniversary parties, private parties, and large seated<br />
dinners, as well as restaurant services for tour groups continued to<br />
be successful <strong>of</strong>ferings.<br />
Cocktails on the Skyline experienced its most successful season to<br />
date. The <strong>Art</strong> After 5PM program with $5 general admission after 5<br />
p.m. drew record crowds to the <strong>Museum</strong>’s ro<strong>of</strong> terrace on Thursday<br />
evenings. The <strong>Museum</strong> Cafe continued to <strong>of</strong>fer its Afternoon Tea<br />
service, with private teas, birthday parties, and special “dressup”<br />
occasions for young girls. Dinner and a Movie packages and<br />
catering for many <strong>Museum</strong> events continued the strong partnership<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Museum</strong> and Cafe.<br />
