L-3 Communications Electronic Systems Inc. (L-3 ES), a division of L-3 Communications, is an internationally
recognized supplier of integrated systems and highly sophisticated electronic equipment for both defense
and commercial applications. With a long standing reputation as a world class ILS and Supply chain provider
for the CP-140 Aurora and recently won Halifax Class Modernization project, L-3 ES is seeking individuals

L-3 ES has facilities in Halifax, Toronto and support staff in Ottawa and employs
approximately 500 highly skilled and experienced personnel, including scientists, engineers,
technologists and technicians.
We are seeking motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
Life Cycle Material Manager – Enfield location
Essential Qualifications and Experience
As a Senior NCO with an Avionics background and experience with the CP 140
you also have the following credentials:
• Technologist diploma or equivalent military training and experience
• Familiarity with one or more of the CP140 avionics systems
• Previous experience in performing Life Cycle Materiel Management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Data Software Analyst – Greenwood location
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Ideally you are a Senior Avionics NCO with secondary duty experience in
Information Telecommunications. Other qualifications include:
• Computer Science Degree, or Technologist Diploma;
• Highly knowledgeable in computer networking concepts, data acquisition/
analysis tools/techniques;
• Knowledge of aircraft databuses desireable (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429) -
CP140 6 MHz Manchester bus an asset;
• Experienced in Software Development in Visual C++, Visual BASIC,
Pascal and/or FORTRAN;
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Software Development
environments;
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision;
Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills;
The successful candidates can expect to enjoy L-3 ES’s 9/80 Work Schedule—2
weeks’ work scheduled into 9 work days, resulting in every other Friday off.

Naval Training Specialist – Enfield location
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Ideally you are a NES OP (QL6 Qualified) with relevant experience instructing at
a Naval school. Must have excellent written skills and be an adept public
speaker and:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products
• Minimum of two years experience with Canadian Forces Training and
Education Systems (CFITES) and Training and Development
• Operational experience onboard Halifax Class frigates
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Materials Coordinator 2 – Enfield Location
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Ideally you have attained the rank of at least Corporal/Leading Seaman as a
Supply Technian (MOSID 00168). Other qualifications include:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Five (5) years practical experience in a warehouse/storekeeping function;
• Working knowledge and understanding of computerized inventory
control systems
• Good hand writing skills, an aptitude for numbers and math as well as
knowledge of packaging techniques
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Must have above average skills in the processing of Canadian Forces
Supply System (CFSS) and MIMS transctions. Requires very good
Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Previous experience and use of SAP or other ERP systems is an asset
