L-3 Communications Electronic Systems Inc. (L-3 ES), a division of L-3 Communications, is an internationally<br />
recognized supplier of integrated systems and highly sophisticated electronic equipment for both defense<br />
and commercial applications. With a long standing reputation as a world class ILS and Supply chain provider<br />
for the CP-140 <strong>Aurora</strong> and recently won Halifax Class Modernization project, L-3 ES is seeking individuals<br />
whose work ethic will take our reputation to the next level.<br />
L-3 ES has facilities in Halifax, Toronto and support staff in Ottawa and employs<br />
approximately 500 highly skilled and experienced personnel, including scientists, engineers,<br />
technologists and technicians.<br />
We are seeking motivated individuals to fill the following positions:<br />
Life Cycle Material Manager – Enfield location<br />
Essential Qualifications and Experience<br />
As a Senior NCO with an Avionics background and experience with the CP 140<br />
you also have the following credentials:<br />
• Technologist diploma or equivalent military training and experience<br />
• Familiarity with one or more of the CP140 avionics systems<br />
• Previous experience in performing Life Cycle Materiel Management<br />
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products<br />
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision<br />
Data Software Analyst – Greenwood location<br />
Essential Qualifications and Experience<br />
Ideally you are a Senior Avionics NCO with secondary duty experience in<br />
Information Telecommunications. Other qualifications include:<br />
• Computer Science Degree, or Technologist Diploma;<br />
• Highly knowledgeable in computer networking concepts, data acquisition/<br />
analysis tools/techniques;<br />
• Knowledge of aircraft databuses desireable (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429) -<br />
CP140 6 MHz Manchester bus an asset;<br />
• Experienced in Software Development in Visual C++, Visual BASIC,<br />
Pascal and/or FORTRAN;<br />
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Software Development<br />
environments;<br />
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision;<br />
Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills;<br />
<strong>The</strong> successful candidates can expect to enjoy L-3 ES’s 9/80 Work Schedule—2<br />
weeks’ work scheduled into 9 work days, resulting in every other Friday off.<br />

Naval Training Specialist – Enfield location<br />
Essential Qualifications and Experience<br />
Ideally you are a NES OP (QL6 Qualified) with relevant experience instructing at<br />
a Naval school. Must have excellent written skills and be an adept public<br />
speaker and:<br />
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products<br />
• Minimum of two years experience with Canadian Forces Training and<br />
Education Systems (CFITES) and Training and Development<br />
• Operational experience onboard Halifax Class frigates<br />
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision<br />
Materials Coordinator 2 – Enfield Location<br />
Essential Qualifications and Experience<br />
Ideally you have attained the rank of at least Corporal/Leading Seaman as a<br />
Supply Technian (MOSID 00168). Other qualifications include:<br />
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent<br />
• Five (5) years practical experience in a warehouse/storekeeping function;<br />
• Working knowledge and understanding of computerized inventory<br />
control systems<br />
• Good hand writing skills, an aptitude for numbers and math as well as<br />
knowledge of packaging techniques<br />
• Good organizational and communication skills<br />
• Must have above average skills in the processing of Canadian Forces<br />
Supply System (CFSS) and MIMS transctions. Requires very good<br />
Microsoft Office Suite skills<br />
• Previous experience and use of SAP or other ERP systems is an asset<br />
